01-04-2015: The geographic range of the Tehran-backed foreign mercenaries deployed in Syria to fight for the Assad regime continues to expand, with Souria.Net publishing photographs from rebels in Jisr al Shughour in Idlib province of an African mercenary killed in clashes there. Rebels in the region report that they are now seeing increasing numbers of African fighters alongside the regime’s Shiite mercenaries from Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, with North Korean and Filipino fighters also fighting for Assad.

30-04-2015: Unprecedented fighting erupted between regime troops and National Defense Force members in an Alawite quarter of central Homs, according to press reports and activist statements.

Alaraby Aljadeed reported Wednesday that “internal differences” between the two pro-Bashar al-Assad fighting forces turned into deadly clashes in the city’s Zahraa quarter, an Alawite-populated district.

Eight civilians, including two women, four children, killed in Mare' airstrike

Mare', ‪#Aleppo‬ province, 30-04-2015: Eight civilians, including two women and four children, were killed in a regime airstrike on homes in the town of Mare’ in Aleppo province this morning. The oldest victim was a 75-year-old man, the youngest a four-year-old boy.
